JUNE 19th PERFORMANCE IN SAN ANTONIO POSTPONED... (updated June 18th, 2008, at 2:30 P.M. CST)

We regret to inform you all that Violinist Omar Lopez and his band will not be performing tonight (Friday, June 19, 2008) at the Empire Theatre in San Antonio, Texas. Omar, who was featured as the opening act for rock icon Pat Benatar in May, was set to open for adult contemporary guitarist and multi-platinum selling artist, Craig Chaquico. In addition, the Craig Chaquico concert itself has been cancelled. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused - the decision was not made by any of us here at Omar Lopez Music and Omar is sad to not be able to share his music as we all had been looking forward to this show.

At the same time, we are happy to inform you that the performance was rescheduled to a full two-hour headlining show at the Arneson Theatre on the Riverwalk in San Antonio on Friday, September 19, 2008 at 7:30 PM. In the meantime, Omar will continue working on more new music with co-producer and multi-instrumentalist Adam Whaley and singer, songwriter, and dance music producer JACINTA for his upcoming, as-yet-untitled third album. Furthermore, he can't wait to play again with his band!

Thank you for your understanding and support. For any questions, please contact Rob Faubion, publicist - rfaubion@omarlopezmusic.com.
